I am a firm believer that some stories deserve get to told twice. In other words, I like taking myths and legends and re-telling them through a new lens.
Miranda Lenwest is a pen name, but I am happy to tell you a bit more about myself. Like many millennials, the first writings I posted online were fanfiction – including a Digimon and Inuyasha crossover story I put on a Neopets page.

What made you want to write about Egyptian mythology?
While I grew up with an interest in Greek mythology, it does not have cat gods. Egyptian mythology does.
Do your books contain/spice smut or other explicit content?
No. My books are “clean reads”. However they are not religious.
Do you use AI?
I do not use AI in the outlining, writing, or editing of my novel. I do my best to vet everything I work with (editors, cover artists, etc.) and ensure they also do not use AI.
